The rest of me : Having been born and brought up in Gangtok/Sikkim
, a hilly paradise in north-eastern INDIA, I've come a long way from having done my schooling in Gangtok itself and my college from Nagpur / Maharashtra to working for an M. N. C in Delhi. My
life's been a plainly twisted, and at the same time, simply complicated one. Full of ironies, huge tides and roller-coaster
rides. But there's one thing thas common in all these phases of my life......my undying passion for music which, in turn,
is dominated by my fascination and dedication to the ROCK N' ROLL genere.
And I have done pretty good at it so far. In brief, during my tenure as the vocalist as well
as the manager and one of the founding members of the band STILL WATERS;
we did gauge some impressive heights. The kind that not many bands can climb up easily, as far as the Rock n' Roll scene in
India is concerned. The inclusion in the Great Indian Rock Fest ( GIR-6 ), the release of the first ever Rock album from Sikkim;
felicitation by the Academy of Fine Arts/Sikkim as well as The Non-Govt' Organisations' Association/Sikkim, the cover story
of an issue of the higly acclaimed and respected Rock'n'Roll mag' of India - RSJ, the nomination amongst the cream of Indian Rock scene for Best Indian Band-2002 category

FAVOURITES
MOVIES : Well,
I got lotsa fav' movies, and every once in a while, a new one gets added to my list. However, the most " prominently special
" ones so far would be : Forrest Gump, The Lord Of The Rings triology, The Sixth Sense,
Braveheart, The X-Men series, Schindler's List, The Ring, Rock Star etc etc etc ... as i said, more n more will
be added as time goes by.
MUSIC : Now
here's the most interesting part ( about me ) that I'll enjoy writing about. My tastes in music. Well, where do
I begin.....ummm...Okai I got it !!! Lemme put it this way; if I were to make a tall tower about me preferences in music;
I'd say, right at the top is where Heavy Metal stands. A step below that lies bits n' pieces of some Thrash Metal here, some
Southern Rock there along with some Funk Rock scattered around. Below that, sits a few ounces of Blues, Country,
Pop-Rock and Classic Pop. And finally, at the bottom lies Rap, Hip Hop, Nu-Metal and " hard core " Alternative
Rock . And finally, underground lies Indi Pop n' Remixes. However, there are a few exceptions here n' there ... obviously.
